Laura Ciucci was born in Manchester, England and grew up in a small northern Pennine town in Lancashire, England. She went to college in South Wales and graduated in 1987 from Glamorgan University, with a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Geology and Environmental Chemistry. In 1988 Laura moved to the United States and established her home base in Carmel, California.
